SouqLebnani (“SouqLebnani”, “we”, “us”) is a Lebanese marketplace connecting customers with local vendors, fixers (tradespeople) and listings for property and cars. This Privacy Policy covers the website SouqLebnani.com and the SouqLebnani Android app, and explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

1. Information We Collect

Accounts

Name, phone number, password, and (optionally) email address when you create an account on the website or in the app.
Shipping/billing address when you place an order.
Vendor and fixer details: shop or business name, work type, area, social media links, and workshop information provided during registration.

Requests to fixers

When you send a request (booking) to a fixer we collect your name, phone number, the job description, your area, and the date you request.

Location (app)

With your permission, the app uses your device’s approximate or precise location to show fixers and listings near you and to fill in your area on a request. Location is used only for these features. You can refuse or turn it off at any time in your device settings and the app will still work.

Orders

When you place an order we collect the products ordered, quantities, total price, delivery address, and order date. SouqLebnani operates exclusively on Cash on Delivery (COD) — we do not collect, store, or process any credit card or bank account information.

Usage Data & Cookies

On the website we automatically collect browsing data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) and use cookies to keep you logged in, remember preferences, and analyze site traffic. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not function properly. The app does not contain advertising or third-party analytics SDKs.

2. How We Use Your Information

To process and fulfil your orders and requests and coordinate delivery or the job.
To manage your customer, vendor, or fixer account.
To communicate with you about orders, requests, support, and account activity.
To show you nearby fixers and listings.
To improve the service and prevent fraud or abuse.
To comply with applicable laws and regulations.

3. Sharing Your Information

We share your data only as needed:

With Vendors: your name, phone, and delivery address are shared with the vendor handling your order.
With Fixers: your name, phone, area, and job details are shared with the fixer you send a request to.
With Service Providers: hosting and delivery partners who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
For Legal Reasons: if required by law or a government authority.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Data Security

All data between the app or browser and our servers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, but no online transmission is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach we will notify affected users as required by law.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We keep your account data while your account is active. Order records are kept as long as required to meet legal and tax obligations. You can ask us to delete your account and its data at any time by emailing info@souqlebnani.com from the email or phone linked to your account (subject “Delete my account”). We delete it within 30 days, except records we must keep by law.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Request correction of inaccurate data.
Request deletion of your data (subject to legal requirements).
Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent, including location permission.
